The Bradford Township Volunteer Fire Department is always accepting applications for volunteer firefighters, fire police officers and EMS
personnel. We provide the training and equipment if you provide some time. The department’s junior firefighter program accepts members from 14 to 17 years of age. We have a great department that is dedicated to protecting life, property and the environment of Bradford Township and the surrounding communities.
We deliver a high level of customer service through training and education. Primarily responding from home, our 100% volunteer department prides itself on its dependable, professional, assertive work ethic, producing firefighters through progressive training programs.

Members of the BTVFD come from all walks of life including students, businesses owners, IT professionals, state troopers, contractors, carpenters, electricians, heavy equipment operators, business executives, plumbers, laborers, veterans, 911 dispatchers, career firefighters, administrative assistants, healthcare providers and many
other occupations and disciplines. The differences in the department’s membership is the foundation of the department’s strength.
